Implants are a great way to replace a lost tooth, a few teeth, or to regain all of your teeth! Implant success depends on your medical history and not everyone is a candidate.

Replacing a single tooth
A single implant is straight forward. The tooth is removed, if necessary and the implant (similar to your natural root) is placed in the bone. A bone graft may be placed to help ensure long-term success with strong integration. A healing cap is placed on your implant while your implant and bone integrate. A few months after your implant placement, when adequate integration is achieved, we take scans and our dental artists mill you a beautiful, natural, and custom implant crown to fill the missing tooth space. You can’t even tell you have an implant! Dedicated hygiene is required to ensure the longevity of your implant investment and will still need to be cleaned just like your natural teeth.

Replacing a few teeth
Similar to replacing a single tooth, implants can be used to replace a set of multiple teeth. The process is the same, but there is no need to replace every missing tooth with an implant. The implants act as the anchors and teeth can be connected to these anchors with a bridge. Dedicated hygiene is required to ensure the longevity of your implant investment and will still need to be cleaned just like your natural teeth.

Replacing all of your teeth with a procedure called AOX aka All on X
This process involves taking out all of your remaining teeth, if necessary, either on the top, the bottom, or both. A minimum of four, five, or six implants are placed, depending on the number necessary to ensure you get the best long-term success for your case, and are placed in your bone, sometimes including your Zygomatic bone or Pterygoid bone, while you are comfortably resting under sedation. These implants are then used to anchor a full set of teeth! After surgery is complete, we begin the process to design and make your new set of teeth in our in-house lab! If your implants are strong in your bone, we will make your first set of temporary teeth and fix them to your implants before you leave our office! We can usually do this entire procedure in ONE day, all under ONE roof – our roof!! You cannot take your teeth in or out and they look and feel very natural! You can smile with confidence, eat and taste the foods you enjoy, get out of pain, and rid your body of any dental infection! After adequate integration, we design and mill a final set of teeth! Your teeth don’t flap around, there is no messy goop, your teeth won’t fall out if you sneeze, you can eat and taste the foods you enjoy, you can smile with confidence, and live your best life…from 30 years old to 96!!
